Systems Instructional Designer (REMOTE)
Overview
As a Systems Instructional Designer on our team, you'll be creative, innovative, and impactful. You will not just create training, but you will create learning experiences that will be delivered across AssuredPartners. This role is key to bringing new and innovative ideas that create positive, impactful, and meaningful learning experiences for all levels and to a variety of audiences.

What You'll Do
Design and Development
• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances the employee experience and transfer of knowledge to learners.
• Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods to develop core content.
• Develop participant and facilitator materials assigned to ensure consistent delivery, look, and feel amongst training programs, with customization to the specific audience the content will be used to support.
• Comfortable creating learning videos.
Administrative and Project Management
• Build and maintain content for Curriculums and Courses.
• Build out our SharePoint page to reflect the current content and curriculum.
• Use data and feedback to guide course revision and the continual improvement of learning experiences.
• Analyze needs to ensure that learning solutions are developed to address needs for the appropriate roles.
Project Management
• Ability to work with multiple deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Comfortable effectively speaking in front of groups in person and via conference call/video-conference, facilitating the conversation and inviting participation and discussion around program and content projects being completed.
• Partner with various department subject-matter experts to create meaningful learning objectives and identify the target audience's training needs before the development of content.
• Provide recommendations on criteria to evaluate the learner's performance and develop assessment instruments.

What You'll Need
• Minimum of 5 years experience in instructional design and working with instructional technology.
• Experience working in the insurance industry.
• Working knowledge of adult learning principles and application in training content.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Adobe Captivate, Canva, and Articulate Storyline.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Previous working knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
• Experience in project management with Instructional Design projects, working with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to effectively develop training.
• BS or MA in instructional design, educational technology, or similar Organizational Development focus.
• Ability to travel as needed to better understand content needs up to 20% travel required.
Preferred:
• Background with Applied Epic, and Benefit Point systems.
• Experience with Madcap Flair.
